Activities
Experience in molecular biology, immunology and infectious disease. Research on human innate immune response vs intracellular infections (Mycobacterium tuberculosis and S.aureus and HIV) and tumors, to identify the regulation of a protective inflammatory response. Screening of new compounds with potential an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity to overcome the resistance insurgence problem of conventional antibiotics. Identification and characterization of African plants products as new nutraceutics or/ and antimicrobial compounds. Development of a technological platform for the in vitro evaluation of the antiviral potency of natural products using pseudoviruses.
